Can anyone tell me of anyplaces where you can rent out a room with a grand piano for an hour? Not for anything commercial, just for a bit of practice on a nice piano.

Can't think of any offhand but you could try going into a posh hotel*, buy a drink and sit at their piano?

    * - Generalisation: All posh hotels have pianos ;)

go into one of the piano shops like pianos plus or danfay or somewhere and make like you've got a load of money. or the hotel idea. that works too.

The important thing in either scenario is pretending you have loads of money.
