Any recommendations for a place to stay in for a 2/3 day mid week stay in August?

Looking for somewhere in Ireland, ideally not too far from Dublin and good for a 2 year old.

Kellys in Wexford is booked out unfortunately.

    Thanks in advance

Westport is nice. Bit far from Dublin though.

    Salthill.

Amusements open and a long promenade to take him/her to tire them out in the evening if the weather is good

    or maybe Tramore

Well, what abouot Fota wildlife park in Cork? If it's too far, what about Newbridge House in Portane. There is a kiddies pet farm there and it is not far from the sea. :)

Trabolgan at this time of year is V. expensive

    Its about €800+ for a Monday-Fri stay for a 5 berth...maybe a little cheaper for 3 berth
    Weekends are over €1k

I hired an apt in Salthill 2 yr ago with our 3yr old in Sep for €450
    Probably about €600 in July

it was 2 min walk from main area, plenty of facilities nearby.
The apt was over 2 floors and had a steep stair case so may not suit you if your child is still nervous on stairs.
However they have plenty other properties on that site
