Becoming a solicitor

    Just a quick question.

I'm studying commerce in college from next year and I would to could go on to train as a solicitor afterwards. Obviously I've checked the law society requirements but I'd like to know how those in the legal profession view Commerce degrees as opposed to law degrees. The last thing I'd like to end up is an unemployed solicitor, I'd prefer to be an unemployed accountant.(The course I'm doing has an option to join the 2nd year of the LLB in the Law Faculty.)

Anyone else had a go ?

    Thanks
