ps2 memory card knackered anything i can do ?

bought an action replay thing from play and was messing about with it, was trying to back up my memory card onto the supplied memory key and it crashed destroying my game saves in the process. Now i cant use my memory card. Is there anything i can do to get the card working or is it just destroyed.

u see the thing is.........BUY A NEW ONE ! if u can afford the internet im sure u can afford a new memory card
