I could be wrong but I'd imagine that basic literacy could be a prerequisite. You've one averaging one mistake every second word, which seems a tad sloppy for membership of an organisation that has been associated with craftsmanship as far back as the pyramids. Then again that may be the image they try to portray. /me bites tongue about that other elitist organisation that you could join.
    http://www.irish-freemasons.org/want_to_join.htm
Only individuals believed to be of good character are favourably considered for membership. Every applicant must be 21 years of age or more and respected in his locality.

    IRISH FREEMASONRY
    ON THE WORLD WIDE WEB
LMAO, this is the "revamped" version?
I'd love to see their old one.
Worst website ever (with the possible exception of power citys old one)

I don't know - it has a kind of mid ninty's retro charm to it.
If they'd used a serif font (like Gerogia) then I'd swear it was done in '96/97.

When I lived in Jersey in the Channel Islands for a while, there was a Freemason's Hall on the street where I lived. Any time they had a meeting, judging from the people going in or out, the youngest of them seemed to be at least 60. It looked more like a social group for wealthy OAP's than anything.

I tend to think the Freemason's are declining in influence (if indeed they ever had any).

A member of Opus Dei tried to recruit me once, but that's a different story!

PS I am secretly in the payroll of the Masons and received €10,000 just for posting this comment ;)
