    Faorly sloppy game overall. Laois deserved to win,they were the better team. Offaly never really played as a team and some terrible wides that cost them at the end. The only Offaly forward that turned up on the day was Willian Mulhall with a fine 1-2 from play. James Gorman shuld not be starting the same has to go for Darby,he's to small was pulling out of challenges and is just wasting possesion when ever he got the ball. Very bad mistakes from the backs throughout the match gave Laois easy scores,especailly the penalty in the first minute. First the full back tryed a stupid unnecessary hand pass which found Stephen O'Leary who was away the ball eventually found its way to Ciaran Delaney and for some strange reason Diarmuid Horan pulled him down when the keeper had him smothered anyway. This put Laois up a goal fron the resulting penalty and Offaly never got closer than that!!!
