I m not too hot on DSL, cable, ISDN etc. but heres a question - Is it not possible in some way to use the equipment supplied by SKY digital to access net at high speed?

I ve looked on the PACE site... www.pace.co.uk but there is little to read ref. braoadband. Sky.com ditto.

How does satellite access in general work - is it dependent on the provider also ?

    Comments would be appreciated.

    The main problem is this.

Sky Digital is one way. You could happily download all the data you want from it, but you would still have to use Eircom lines to send data.

Also, there is probobly some strange Government issues with letting some huge foreign company like Sky Digital more or less control Irish Broadband.

    Either way, dream on. smile.gif
