    i emailed pipex in the uk as i went to there site and i saw they had fibre laid to dublin and belfast and sent an email thru on a wild try to see what i culd learn , i asked culd i get ADSL here in cork southern ireland (i didnt have much hope) but what i got back was interesting but im not sure what to make of it , id like to know what is "Global Roaming" here is the email replied some1 explain it to me plz?

    Hi,
    Pipex can not offer ADSL out side of the UK. You can use the dial service
    but may prove to be expensive as you would need to have Global roaming on
    constantly as you are based in Southern Ireland. This is charged at £2.50
    per hour in addition to the £12.75 monthly fee.
