Keep getting a pop upmessage from my sygate firewallsaying explorer.exe has been blocked from accessing the network.
So i click the dont show me this message again tab.
It keeps popping up every 5 mins.
I had a look in the sygate firewall help section and it suggests i may have a virus.
I then scanned with AVG anti virus and found 6 infected objects, but got a message saying 0 trojans successfully removed :(
Im still getting the damn pop ups.
I got this soon after i downloaded the latest omega drivers for my new x800xl gfx card.
    Any ideas guys?
Id hate to have to reformat my machine although im prob due one.
Tis well over a year since last format/windows install.

Have a lash with Ad-Aware, Spybot and CWShredder. Between the three of them they should manage to get your little nasty.

OK this thing got past adware, and AVG, all are up to date :(
Done a scan with AVG and it found 6 viruses but successfully got rid zero :(
It gave no details etc and i kept getting the damn popup from my firewall bout explorer.exe.
Done a full reformat of my system lastnight, was well over due one.
Should i change from adware to spybot?
Also ive grown to dislike firefox and after reformat im using IE,security wise is IE ok to use?
The reason i ask is i only changed to firefox long ago when i was advised its safer than IE?

    spyhunter from www.enigmasoftwaregroup.com

the trial will show you the registry and file locations of viruses and adware and spyware but won't remove them , $30 for that

It will show up the registry locations if you are prepared to spend a little time removing manually though
