    An incredible machine!!!

Personially my loyalties are with dual core 4800+ chips....but you can always drop the FX-57 in a year when the technology matures!!!

I WOULD SERIOUSLY HARM(not kill) SOMEONE TO GET THAT COMPUTER.......WOW!!!

My speakers are better :p...well if I actually had a damn computer. Nuts.

Anywho, Very nice spec. I was going to pick up one of them until I realised that Mesh actually wanted money for it.

Thanks for the comments. Getting pretty excited myself.

Can't wait to see Half-Life 2 on it. Was playing the other day on my 1Ghz PIII and was imagining what it might be on a real machine. I'd say the sound will be great too!

One thing I'm not sure about is that they have a 19" Sony monitor thats about the same price as the one I'm getting and another 19" one thats about £100.00 more. Am I sacraficing some of the image quality for a bigger screen?

    Stop cribbing you lucky bollox!!!

That machine will produce incredible graphics....possible the best fullstop....and that monitor @ 20" will sacrifice nothing....it's an incredible machine!!!

    OOOH I hate you!!!!

    Ok, a bit concerned.

They are reviewing computer retailers in the UK and Mesh has got slated by nearly every person and there are allot!!!!

I give up....dont get this computer.
Dont ever buy a computer again as they are too risky....lock yourself up in your home and wear a tinfoil hat as aliens are coming.

Make up your mind...get it or not....its up to you.

What zuma said, it's totally up to you. Every company makes bad things happen, hell I even know people who ordered laptops off Alienware, and had them about 5 months later. I'd take a guess and say those folks who slated Mesh are just the unlucky ones.
Have a look around some other sites for reviews of Mesh's computers etc. and see if that calms yer money-ridden nerves. :)

I want my F&%$!N motherboard! Damn overclockers.

So much for asking experienced peoples advice!

That site seemed to have alot of people praising other companies but MESH was getting a bad time. Even if you google 'MESH review' you just get tons of bad reviews.

I may go for Komplett. It will cost a bit more, are they worth it. I have bought parts from them in the past but not a full machine.

Go back to Dell while your at it!

I regret the time I spent thinking about this and your last thread now!!!

Why spend so much ? You could spend half that and get a machine very very nearly as fast....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,969 ✭✭✭christophicus

I have to say that is an amazing computer and if you play games alot it is deffinatly better to go with the fx 57 over the 4800 .what exactly is that the people are complaining about(refer the mesh flames).

why have you gone so angry ?didnt you say something about having no need to fear asking questions ?

Robert, if you're not going with the Mesh system, I'd suggest you have a look at Overclockers.co.uk full systems. The Ultima Extreme SLi is the same spec (more or less, a few better components) as the R8, and it works out a bit cheaper. It doesn't come with a keyboard/mouse etc. but with the 700 odd Euro you'll have left over you could pick up a 19" LCD monitor, a Logitech Cordless Desktop MX3100 combination and a set of Creative T-7900's.

Overclocker's are a good crowd, I just bought close to 2 grand's worth of stuff off them and not a single problem. Aside from the motherboard, it was dead when I got it, but that's being sorted as we speak.
    Check them out anyway.

I have no problems with questions...but after looking the mesh system up and down and saying its the best system in my opinion...he goes and as the yanks say "Flip/Flops" to komplett!!!
I've spent too long helping out someone, who doesnt even know what he wants, as it is.

Have fun spending your money Robertr....I recommend you get an abacus or something if your unwilling to take chances.

Sounds like a bit of the Green Monster in those comments.

I know what I want, the best PC I can get for my money. Thats why I came here, to get the opinions of the experts. Sorry for wasting your prescious time. I would consider it reasonable to consider the customer service record of a company before spending €4,000 on a machine. People don't end up with that kind of money to spend by throughing it away on junk or "taking chances"! I don't feel like gambling on getting a good PC.

Thanks to everyone for the advice so far but I think I've had my fill of this thread.

What's wrong with you people? He doesn't trust Mesh, and he wants to go with someone else.

Zuma, you gave advice. He is no more obligated to take it, than you are to give it.
He considered the advice you gave him, which is all that you can expect of him, grow up.
