USB pen-drive recognition problem

    Hey there.
I'm having a problem with my USB pendrive. The story is that here at work we have access to various network drives, labeled f:, g:, h: and so on. The problem is that when I (or anyone else) plugs a USB pendrive into the PCs, it hides itself behind the first network drive. i.e. if the first network drive is labeled f: then that's where the pendrive mounts itslef. To acces the pendrive I have to disconnect the relevant network drive.
My question is there any way to prevent this happening. I'd rather not permanently disconnect any network drives.
    Thanks

Well youve a few options -
Get your mapped drives changed to different letters upon connection by your Admin or get a batch file on your pc at startup that disconnects your mapped drives and then reconnects them with different letters

Ive seen this issue before - I think i went into disk management in administrative tools and got the letter changed in there as a temp solution
