What's going on in some kids minds when playing any game, this kid stabed his 7 month old nephew after getting frustrated while playing disney's The Incredibles on his PS2, he blamed his nephews crying for causing him to die in the game all the time.

    Tabloids

Gavin Burrell QC said that the stabbing occurred at a time when the family was experiencing a great deal of strain - the boy's sister was in hospital and his mother was caring for her own children along with the baby.

The boy, who had always been "the baby of the family", felt pushed out, and said he "wanted to send it back," his mother told the court.

Prior to the incident the boy was caught playing truant, and told a teacher: "There is a lot going in my head."

Crying, he explained that his family was caring for a baby who was noisy, saying: "The baby is doing my head in." He also told teachers that he was being bullied.

When a tabloid has the choice to blame the dysfunction in the family or a video game/film/magazine/rock star they will always go for the latter. Probably because their readers are similar morons from dysfunctional familes.

So, it wasn't the game at all. It's merely a reaction you get when something doesn't go your way. Don't know why they brought in the title or creator of the game, it's nothing to do with them.

Read the full article. The child and his family were going through a traumatic time. The game had nothing to do with it.

What annoys me is that the babies stepfather was asleep instead of supervising the baby.

The lawyers want a scapegoat to blame for what their clients do. "its not my clients fault its the evil influence that these games have"

Try saying that when Elastigirl falls off a building for the 50th time and you have to go all the way back to the beginning of the level.

why would someone from a dysfunctional family be more likely to be a tabloid reader!?

i'm going to declare that question rhetorical so as not to drag the thread away from video game violence but just pointing it out. i read the times myself.
