Just to be safe I would go for the 12:30 bus or maybe even the 12:10....

Absolutely considering that you would want to be at the Airport by 1.15pm if your flight is at 2.45pm.

Yes, the 12:50 bus is crazy to consider. The Dublin Bus routes to the airport go all over the place and take forever. The timetable itself reckons 75 mins from Terenure, so that would be you arriving at 2:05pm - IF everything went exactly to schedule.

What you should do is buy a one day rambler ticket in any newsagent, then get the 16A into O'Connell Street and switch to a 747 express bus which heads direct out to the Airport with no stops. This should save you time

The 12.50 bus would be mad. . . from O'Connell Street the bus can take nearly an hour. Do as the above said and buy the rambler ticket. The 747 takes roughly half an hour to get to the airport from the city centre.
