Lite on monitor hell.

I have had a Lite on 19" monitor and since I got it, it would always go fuzzy after a time of usage it would come and go and never give me enough time to take a picture for evidence. Now literally minutes ago it terrified me by going bang and warping the image beyond recognition, and at this point I have had enought of it. I bought it a in september 2003 so its just under 2 years old now. But I fear that its just going to give me even more trouble. It has a 3 year warranty card and all my attempts to contact lite on have failed using several sources, I have even phoned their distributer in Ireland.

I accepted the fuzzyness, as with a reboot it would go away, and wasnt prepared to be without a screen while it was sorted out.

What should I do. Now I just dont feel safe using it any more not least for my eyesight.

according to Belarc advisor this is the monitor details. Liteon e1996PNST/NSL [Monitor] (17.7"vis, June 2003)

its put through a geforce fx5200 128mb card and it occurs on all other computers I have tested the monitor on, so its not the card.

Anyone care to enlighten me what I can do as its defective and the warranty is still valid but annoyingly the place of purchase has gone bust so I cant even send it back to them.

Ronan they got my first email about 4 months ago, and by my standards thats plenty of time. (I own an iRiver - 30mins on hold to customer support and up to 4 weeks to reply to an email). But I purchased it brand new from discount computers NI in october 2003 and its warranty as I said is 3 years so its about 2/3s of the way there.
