Does anyone know of sports grounds on Dublin Southside that may be available for hire, somewhere like Wanderers Rugby Club for example? Very difficult to get hold of people from suitable places. Can't get through to the Irish Glass Bottle Sports & Social Club, Clonskeagh or Old Belvedere. Any suggestions? Thanks.

What is it you're looking for exactly?

We're looking for the space really for some games...a grass pitch/grounds would be ideal. There would be no damage done to the grass.

They've newly refurbished the sports centre and grounds in Monkstown as far as I know. I'll try find a website/contact details for you.

I would imagine that private clubs such as Old Belvedere etc. might be reluctant to hire out their pitches to people.

What's wrong with a public space such as Marley Park/Herbert Park etc...?

Monkstown pool and fitness centre homepage is here http://www.monkstownpool.com/

They have new all weather pitches as far as I know, not sure if they'll do.

If we were to use public grounds, we would have to apply to Dublin City Council and that takes too long really.
