Firefox keeps crashing when I visit certain websites, one of them being AIB's 24 hour banking. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but to no avail. This only started happening about 2 weeks ago. Was fine for months before that.

Anyone got any ideas on what I can do? I don't wan't to go back to using IE.

Paranoid, but did you check for viruses/trojans?

Have you really really uninstalled it? Going into programs and application data too (you need to be able to view hidden files).

Try removing all cookies. And uninstall all firefox addons.
    That might fix it.

Something similar was happening to me during the last few days. Firefox was hanging everytime I opened a pdf in the browser window.

I thought it might be my extensions so I uninstalled all of them (and reinstalled the ones I "really" use!!!). Have you tried this?

It sounds like this could be your problem (especially if you are using "NoScript").

It's a work laptop, we got virus scanning software so I doubt it is that.

Already removed all extensions, didn't make a difference.

I removed it using the Add/Remove programs option on XP, rebotted and reinstalled it with a fresh download from the firefox site. What do you mean go into programs and application data? Are they folders?

Click on the link to find out more about the error. Post the screenshot of that.
