I was interested to know if anyone is using these facilities. I am going to open a new account with either PokerStars or Empire and I notice that these do not accept debit (laser) cards. Up till now I only ever use debit cards on the sites I play. Has anyone any experience with these? How does the withdrawls work, are there any fees?

As far as firepay goes, I know nothing. I have been using neteller for about two years now and find it to be by far the easiest to withdraw from and move money between sites.

Your cashouts to neteller usually take a shorter time than other methods, also using neteller removes the need to go to your bank with dollar cheques and have to wait an infuriatingly long time for them to clear. I use the neteller atm card which means i can withdraw from my neteller account and get the money at an atm in fifteen minutes, there are charges but they are small $2 per withdrawl and also im sure exchange rates offered are not the most competetive, but for the speed and efficiency it is well worth it.

When you set up an account and make your first withdrawl neteller ask for all kinds of id, proof of address etc. this is only when you make the first withdrawl so dont be put off you wont have to do it again, and besides at least it shows they mind the money , right? Also you can be confident in the security of neteller they are regulated by the ukfsra.

    Hope this helps.

I'm not sure that this is the case anymore. They now ask you to register your bank account with them, which allows you to make easy transfers into your bank account for $1 per transaction.

I don't use firepay either. Neteller are pretty quick to do what you ask and offer 24 hour support if things go wrong. They seem secure. They aren't a bank, and do not offer the same protection that a bank does. However, I do get the idea that things are going well for them. I don't have the debit card.

yeah you just register your bank account now.

they transfer an amount in cents to your account, you check the amount on your statement and enter it to validate your account, no need for paperwork.

got to get me one of thos atm cards tho :)

I think you only need to register a bank account if you want the premium membership which allows for larger and more frequesnt transactions.

I've had my account for over 2 years and havne't had to register one but then this could have changed for new members.

you don't have to register an account, only if you want to cash out to one, or if you want the premium membership as you say.

you can still sign up for an account and get checks, transfer moolah etc.
