    does anybody know who much carlisle heath and fitness leisure centre is to join? (end of whitehall road, Dublin)

    I think it's 425 euro for the year. Stick on FM104 and you'll probably hear the ad within 10 minutes!

    at the moment(or a while ago anyway) there was an offer for full membership for 16 months for 450 euro!
    its a good gym if you arent into free weights!
    the highest their dumbells go up to is 30's

    I hear there's some creepy lil short guy going round there offering to be a 'personal trainer'for a fee & claiming to have his own gym 'down on the quays'.
    Really sleazy.
    Not sure if anyone's complained or not yet.

    member here since it opened 4-5 years, goin downhill bigtime, first they took tv's off all the equipment, then they cut back on lighting (its now dingey) they've dropped prices so low every tea leaf in area is in action, my pal had his phone robbed and last week my trainers were whipped while i showered, i won't even mention the stories of other robberies i've heard of, all in all a shame cos it really suited me and "was" nice but when my deal is over i'm out. hope mr dunne reads boards, ps pool very cool of late also, doesn't really bother me but lots of members complaining to completely uninterested staff.
