What happened last night??
No show, or are the promoters useless?
It was a real pity, been looking forward to seeing the blast master for years,
on a positive scary eire played, and did as much as they could considering.

Its still not clear what happened, alot of different stories floating about over on irishhiphop.com, whats clear is that a fúck up of the highest order took place and it seriously pissed off everyone there last night, im suprised there wasnt a riot coz there were alot of people getting angry during scary eire's preformance and some little knack threw a bottle and almost hit DJ Mek, i was gutted last night aswell, i was so happy that i got tickets and had really built the gig up myself so i felt really shítty afterwards.

I got to see Scary Éire perform Dole Q so no complaints from me and met a few heads I hadn't seen in a while. I knew early on that he wasn't going to show. It wasn't the promoters fault in the end but he did do a bad job of running the gig. He stayed in his hotel in Ballsbridge with this family and entourage of 11. He was being an asshole all week and in the end refused to go on until he got all his money upfront. The blame is squarely on KRS

let me take you back a few months first.
just before the westwood gig when the hype was the westwood gig and all the controvesy it involved. mek had qouted krs one and i had just been offered krs one for 7000 pounds and not 34000 as he claimed to simon all because kanye west gets that much. i treid giving the project firstly to my favourite promoter who practically made the pure tone legacy. Paul from low empire productions hoping he would reinstate his presence in the scene with the project but somehow he did not believe me and threw the 'he does not fly' reason in my face.the same reason was thrown in my face by declan forde( wide o). So knowing me and how i hate the bigger guys for treating hiphop artists like slaves in the 18th century who played the fiddle and got paid and whipped the next day.I took the project soon after westwood. Class entertainment where the agency who convinced me to take the project. No doubt i am an amature,but i would take it still cause i felt this guy had to come to ireland cause the fans would appriciate him
on the 6th may i sighned the contract and payed 4200 the deposit which is allegedly sayed to be missing and yet my reciepts show other wise.The date was set for the 4th of june at the sfx cause this was the only place available at that moment. As usual i got the hastle from people about the venue and the price of tickets. i satrted the first campaighn fo the date. and a wekk before the date i was told by class entertainment that they got a a call from a collegue( who i cannot mention) that the venue was dangerous tickets were going well but because the fans where complaining about the venue and now the agent feels the same i settled on agreement for the 15th of july. three days later i announced spirit which was a very expensive venue.Please not by that time i had been scewed by class entertainment for the ATL project first date and had lost about 2000. but i hoped they would deliver in the future so stuck with them.clinton sparks came and went and the whole fiasco. and the 15th was set. In the next week after the 9th fiasco these guys tell me i have to change the date again to the 1st of july. so i changed the venue cause i was gonna loose more money if sticked at spirit.I moved the date to 1st of july to temple bar music centre. and go on a massive campaighn.people begin to buy more toickets and get very hyped and i really get into the whole thing too.

THE TWIST

now i am working also on the atl project with franky and steve who were very helpful and didnt get paid for the project because of the failure. Class entrtainment stop answering calls even sean harley would tell you that.Its three days before Atl and still cant get in touch with thse guys and I book hotels and the village and hope they show up. but boom i am screwed again by class entertainment. now things really look dodgy to me fro krs one. and its a week away. so i started to track these guys down. i get in touch with one of them and he assures me its goin down on the 1st of july. but then from then he has his phone on voicemail. so i call a few agents i was working with on future projects to track these guys down and one of them gets me RAMUS CHRISTOPHER. now this guy is an a classic ass hole and if anyone met him thay would know the kind of guy krs one is. I got in touch with the agent who i shall not mention for his reputation and told him to tell ramus i would pay the same price if the project goes head.knowing now that i will get my money back from class entertainment and their americanj agent. the tuesday before friday the 1st. I get a phone call from the krs one camp. krs one being in the back round on loud speaker. Now the big thing that messed up this whole tour was the fact that kris was travelkin g with family and poochy was not the manager but his WIFE SUMMONE. now shes one money loving lady that contradicts everything krs one is on his albums and many interview and books including the inetrview he has with sean harley, I mean krs one has a book called profits Vs prophecy and always says that money is not his passion for hiphop but man like i said this guy puts one hell of an act to ensure his image is real but behind the scenes screws guys like me. .I try explaining how people would kill me if the date did not go ahead but they tell me they didint recieve the money and know nothing about that date . by then the word had spread even on most american sites and agencies about my campainghn to ensure that this date commences and how i would be dead with his fans if it didnt. But damn dem boys dont care.
By that time kris aint doing the date unfortunately it was booked between brighton and holland the next day but still i try to convince him sighting the death threats i was getting if this did not happen. I told him people had waited more than six years for this to happen. He said his body wasnt able and at the moment i understood but he re the thing they guy then told me he wasnt paid and my money was missing. I was shocked and class had alot to explain which they havent.Another twist is that he could have chosen to do ireland istead of holland if he really wanted to come but he chose amsterdam over my people. I mean he could have got aferry from hollyhed the next day or liverpool or pembroke which ever is closest and made to dublin still.he tried to convnce me to postpone it to next april but i didnt believe him and people would have still killed me.I told him it had to be this summer. so i called the venue and told the venue guy about it and he sadi no it wasnt goin to happen by that time this guy is wondering how a teenager like me half the age of most promoters who would have done this but also failed so many times is getting to promote krs one. i tell him to talk to summone and summone explains the odeal.and there is a new date. I accept to the date on the condition he does the interview Sean had been waiting for the past three weeks. and he agrees and now i set a new date and announce it. but damn i had made a big mistake and put myself in the corner. He wasnt going to do the new dates. Ramus and summone have put it into thier minds to get as much as they can out of me. so its friday and the new date is passed and sean hasnt done the interview since wednesday wiating for hours thursday, friday in the spin 1038 studio. and tickets are flying out so on thursday i cancel the date.Note class havent explained the missing money.

The money issue and the scam starts

.On thursday i get a phone call and finnesse can witness to this as i was at bray movies and had to get out from watching batman( still cant believed i missed half the movie for kris)and his american agent calls me and tells me kris has not been getting paid for most of his dates and how he has not recieved my money, I tell him the situation if this gig does not happen and he tells me to deal directly with summone and forget class entrtainmenmt. Saturday morning kris and summone break their promise and now are already trying to cancel the new date. Sean is still asking me about the inetrview and cant get thru to anyone, the guys are in amsterdam. in an expensive hotel and have a plan. They wont do the interview unless they get paid more and i pay for hotels from amsterdam to london and dublin. what the **** i tell them i cant do that. i go to all city records and ask him how many tickets they have sold to make a decision and oc is also present.And he tells me thier low but oc looks at me like damn this gig aint never gonna happen. and for the first time i realise it aint. i call summone and tell her it was off. sean calls me and i also tell him it is off. now note this is five days before the date. i am confused. i have to make a decision. thats when a big mistake happens, I talk to the fakest kris on the phone on his own.Damn this was like a big moment and yes my heart was pounding as i am also just a fan at the moment. And so i ask him this question. DO YOU WANT TO COME TO IRELAND? and he say without a straight answer' physically i am not able but mentally i can and he continues to explain how he needs to accomodated and i feel bad for the legend who is being treated badly by his agent . but the scma is to make this amature promoter make up for the luxury for the whole tour. so here i am. the youngest promoter in history to have such a project sean harley is still waiting for the interview, I have told everyone that this is happening. and i am being offered the rawrest deal a promoter can get, i have lost alot of money along the way and have been thru hell with these guys playing around with me.What am i to do the guy kris seems genuwine still to me. I ask summone this why am i now paying more than anyone and why am i paying for hotels in amsterdam and london and she says thay wont do the date awill still do the inetrview to save note KRIS's ass. And they acting all christain. i mean kris's is throwing the god bless yous like he means them. i tell them its hard for me to cover such costs. Note i am a student, 21, i aint no milloinaire, just a another guy trying to get krs one to dublin. and so i got them to do the interview. and sena get the interview which he puts on an act and i know. Now during the interview. Enter raymus, ray ray, the kanye west, jay-z affiliation wannabe. this guy calls me up staright away and tyell me he has deals with kanye who i refused to promote a week ago cause of costs and his bling attitude that would have practically killed me. I mean his guy does not stop talking about kanye-jayz affiliations.he thanks me about it but he must think i am stupid cause at that time i had debt collectors heading to class entertainment for my money. but i stoped them because of the new date.

The interview is taking place and raymus calls me and makes me pay by credit card to the amsterdam hotel. NO PROMOTER HAS EVER< IMEAN EVER DONE THIS for any artist outside his domain. the hotel costs for the three days amoutn to three thousand euros in amsterdam man. And the very next day as a normal human being i defaulted from the agreement for hotels called simon and told him the story and i went around trying to look for money from tickets and ya its true.I mean i was in big trouble from these bills. ,Monday the book themselves into londons landmark hotel the most expensive hotel in londodn in the name of jay z affiliations and raymus is reponsible for doing so. Now the they're playing the bling three days from the date over my expense. Note they did not saty in the landmark for all the other dates they were in london god forgive me but the bombs were right outside their hotel, its because of me they were not they were not caught upNow landmarks costs 3000 per night alone. and ya i cant do it. and my credit cards bounce because you have to put money in them that clears four days after. The diputes begin. i cant p[ay for these costs just like i had said. they dont want to come to dublin at least where the hotels are cheaper and much more comfortable.the reason being that who would they hang around with. i mean they were throwing bono and corrs in my face. and yes raymus was wanted british pussy for the next two days. i mean three days in the landmark wa ridiculous so they got thrown out and went to a cheaper hotel. On tuesdayu iend a a further 2000 for the gig. credit cards havent cleared and so now theyre paying for the hotels themselves and tuesday they satrt telling me they want to be treated like divas or they wont play. This is two days before and i stressed. midnight they call it offf for the first time. and bizzi b and the dj fly off as they are tired of the tour but i aint having that. Wednesday i tell kris he has to come no matter what cause i aint dying for him. I aint no liar and these are my people. Raymus on the other hand wants me to treat them like a diva and that i am not making the guy feel speacial which a i retalite by telling him how people have kept tickets for more than four dates and that he must not play me around like that. this is not about kris but the fans who have waited so long. kris says the same about being accomodated . thats why i posted the post in irirshhiphop audio section. they call me to get an interview to cancel the date . note this is a date before and i cant have that. both camps try sean harley but we cant get thru to him and so i call simon from hiphopireland.com
now simon allegedly called them and they told him they cant do the date becasue they wanted 34000 like kanye west. and i dont have that. simon then siad excatly what i had been telling them that this wasnt about money but about the fans. and i dont know what simon says and aron the biggest hiphop act in ireland said to these guys that changed their mind and they called me nd still going on.

The day kris screwed his fans.

JULY 7TH-

the day is upon us and they are bombs outside his hotel that hesurvives and i tell him to get the hell out of there and kris unfortunately would never had been invloved in this tragedy if he had come the previous day. so they are delayed but use this as a reason to come as late as possible to ireland from 9 am they tell me they are on their wayand simon can witness to that as he was also in constant contact with him. I do apologise to those who i was telling he was already in town. Four seasons is booked out cause of oxegen and apparently snoop has checked in and raymus the kanye-jayz affiliator wants the same hotel . but i get them anther five star hotel, burkley hotel which also cost me alot of money for 1 suite for the diva(kris) and six rooms.These guys take thier time to get to the ferry and everytime i call they say theyre abut to get on the ferry. at six they call mne asay they will be getting on the 6 pm ferry arriving at 8 pm. the show was going to start at 7:30 pm now theyre taking the piss. The deamnds have now sky rocketed to levels i jaust think are riduculous and many can witness this from the telephone, 'he wants his hot fish ready and a press confrerence when he gets to the hotel' raymus demands i am in toatl panic of course no oress is interestd after four cancellations so i ask a few websites and hiphop magarzines like rap ireland to go there and rap ireland are the only guys interested. kris is now acting the jurk 100 % claming the hotel money and the ferry money( the ferry money was out of context as they kepte telling me they are on the ferry until 6 pm when was i meant to book it i mean if they had told me the truth i would have booked as it was five minutes from where the venue was). the show has started and kris is not there and the venue guy is alos now acting the jurk promosing to acta the jurk at 830 they drop at the port and with kris and summone;god bless poochi for droping the tour off his hands; ranting and ranting about the hotel money i decide to try cuty discs for my ticket money cause now they wont play without the money by 9 theyre in the hotel and raymus the kanye west guy is at the venue threatening to cancel and the venue manager is now acting the dumb guy trying to involve himself in this. so because there is money at door Raymus the jay-z affiliator wannabe,he wants that money and i say youll get it soon after the show and the venue gurantees him 6875 euro the next day which of course is without my consent. I mean here the situation, I am the promoter and now i am totally shut out. Raymus the kany west affilaitor goes and on stage and announces that the show might not go on again without my consent. now i do look 16, and everyone has decided what he says dont matter . summone comes to the venue and practically ignores me and decides to deal with the venue . note i have 1200 in my pocket to give her if all goes really bad. but she aint talkin to me . they go upstairs and they fail to come up with an agreement. and raymus and summone walk off . the venue guys finally come to me and thats when they tell me and update me on their claims which where bogus. I tell them i am going to get kris if it kills me. It 11 pm i am the hotel and rap ireland still are craving for a interview with the fake kris. i tell them there is a riot at the venue and kris has to keep his word. I even throw some of his own philosophies at him that he cant answer and he hanga up on me. I tell rap ireland that this is bull**** and to stay out of it cause theyre about to be thrown with a save kris's name campaighn. and ya i know kev wants his name out there and the mag would benefit frm the interview. You see i have no image worth keeping and kris has and the mag wouldnt understand this. kris comes down stairs wanting to do the gig finally cause he knows its looks bad. we get to the venue and teh venue manager has pulled the gig without my consent. Just 30 minutes after i to him i wuld be back with kris.Fans want to kick my ass and the venue aint undrstanding me. so i leave


i head for the hotel to talk to raymus the jay-z affiliator wannabe, he is throwing me all these projects and how is so big and wants me to lay low and then come back and i tell him i aint doing any other hiphop show cause hiphop is provin to be fake. while i am discussing with mo he gives me an idea to get another show going for friday and keep everyone happy the morning arrives and both the venue and raymus decline the offer. Now here i am. out 20000, the fans are pissed off and kris is heading for america. He dont care, he just wants to save his ass. his rich enough and all but i aint. i hustled to get this done. i went thru hell to do this date. Summone asked me when its goin end and i told her when the gig is done.Kris looses nothing form this. ireland looses alot. i loose alot. if money is not the issue why wont they give me money back. odog and many people may judge me but lets check out who is the victim.many people are pissed off but my life is ruined.all becuase i believed in the temple of hiphop. please i am a christain. THE truth should at least be told right. and i want my money back.

It was a bad idea to pay for the hotels etc but he was under a lot of pressure and panicing. Calling him stupid is a bit harsh, he tried to do what he could to get the gig and then got fúcked over.

No. What you do is once they start asking for expensive hotels to be paid for outside the city of the gig, is you kindly tell him to get lost, and call the whole thing off. Surely at that he must have realised that something was up. It's completely unheard of for promoters to pay for stuff like that.

He's new to the business. I guess he had put a lot into it already and thought that if he put some more in that it would keep the gig on track so he could recoup his money.

Check out the link below, its an exerpt from an interview with KRS in which he talks about what happened with the gig, basically contradicting alot of what the promoter has said above, he seems fairly adament to come back and do it properly tho which is a good thing.

In Fairness, why would he spend 3 days coming from Amsterdam to London to Dublin if he didn't want to do the gig?, he wanted to play but obviously your not gonna go into work tomorrow if you thought you werent gonna get payed for it. Thats not to say i dont believe any of what puretone has said above either, but there is a direct condratiction where KRS says that puretone offered to pay for the hotels and puretone says he didnt, i hope the full truth comes out, but id still go to the gig tomorrow if it was on.

Puretone said he did agree to pay for the hotels. KRS and his crew according to Puretone subsequently decided to book themselves into the most expensive hotels they could find, which he couldn't afford to pay for.

The full truth is probably a mix of what both are saying. Puretone was out of his depth, I reckon KRS' management realised this and tried to squeeze as much out of him as possible.

If he was to have another concert I wouldn't pay €40 again for a ticket.
