offered to sell computer?

    someone asked me to sell my computer to them...
    they offered 800 for the lot.
    thats 800 sterling now...

    athlon 64 4000 2.4ghz 1mb
    gigabyte ga-k8nxp sli atx nforce4 mofo
    19" tft monitor ( black )
    Harman Kardon Soundsticks II
    creative audigy 2 soundcard thx 7.1
    x800xt 256mb
    3 gb ram ( 3 x 1024mb )
    dvd rw dual 16.16.4.40
    cd rw 52.32.52
    optical mouse and keyboard set ( matching black )
    400w power supply w 12" fan.
    250gb samsung sata 2 HD.
    400gb seagate barracuda sata 7200.8 HD
    500gb deskstar sata2 16mb HD
    external floppy drive ( black )
    4x 2.0 usb ports


    the case has a blue led light on the front cover. along with 2 usb 2.0 ports and sound ports.. ( but there is a sound card in the rig )
    side panel is modded to its got a clear shape on the side. with 2, 4color led light'd fans running...

    looks well finished as its all black with the lights.. only non matching color is the speaker's and subwoofer...

    he's offered me 800 sterling for it...
    thats 1,167.55 euro's

    im not 100% sure to sell it as i made it myself and i love it.
    but then again... i was thinking of upgrading it or making a new machine..


    would i be better to sell it off, or upgrade it?
    i wanna upgrade the graphics card, the processor, and add another 1gb of ram.

    any thoughts?

    No... Ask for nothing less than £1000. The other guy would be laughing at you if you sold that to him for that price, IMO.

    Nice machine. You wouldn't build it for that so it's really down to how much of a hit your willing to take on selling it versus how much just upgrading it would cost. If you upgrade you can still sell the parts your getting rid of so I reckon this would save you a few quid. This is usaually what I do every so often and I find it works out better. Nvida 7800 I suppose? :-)
