can i get sky installed cheaper from an independent dealer without sub. Costs 350euro from sky. Or would it be best to get equipment second hand and get a dealer to do it.

Hi,

Self-install is easy enough: the issue will be the sky box and subscription.

Sky heavily subsidise install anyway: why would you want to get the ladders out?

What I intend doing is installing then using only a ftv card, I dont want anything else

I would think cheapest way is to go for 28.50 per month x 12 and you also get a bonus of those channels for 12 months.
