    Just as I talkin to a few ppl bout selling a dress I just thought I'd share my recent experience to any other females out there:
    I advertised a debs dres on Buy and Sell and started to get perverted/obscene phone calls from some freak. I really hope that nobody else who had advertised in the same classification had to experience what I did. My advise is that is anybody is selling a dress or any other item of ladies clothing alarm bells should start ringing when a gut calls enquiring about it. It's such a pity that such an excellent public advertising facility such as the Buy and Sell is being tarred by weirdos!!! If it does happen, try and get a name and number and report to the Gardai....this is how the sex offenders start out gettin their sick kicks!!! :mad:

    Interesting, it's amazing how some people get their kicks, amybe I'm jsut innocent but I don't see how anyone would get a kick out of that.

    It's when they start askin bout how tight it its and the underwear etc...thats when u know their obviously gettin some`sort of cheap thrill....askin wierd questions bout how the dress looks on u and how easy is it to take off!!! YUCK!!!

    Just want to let you know you're not alone in this. I too posted an ad in the Buy and Sell about a debs dress a few weeks ago. I started getting really weird phonecalls from a withheld number and everytime I'd answer he'd just start talking dirty, and not ask for any response! He even left a message on my message minder muttering obscene pervy stuff.
    I got my boyfriend to answer any withheld numbers and he soon stopped calling. It's a real shame that this kinda stuff happens, because the buy and sell is a great way of getting your ad out there. My advice to anyone selling on there would be to only list an email address, or if you must include a number, get your husband/boyfriend or even your brother to take the call for you, they're less likely to keep it up if they hear a male on the other and it'll probably filter a lot of perves and timewasters.
