Hi I've a FTA card that has not been used for awhile and ITV and CH5 are showing the blue screen on how to subscribe. I've left it in overnight and they are still not back. How long should it take. The Box is a mirror Sub so the phone has had to be disconnected. The card is one of new Sky FTA cards.

They are FTV(free to view) cards not free to air.

    You have ch4?

Well then keep it in for 24 hrs and it should work.

Yes I've CH4 . Just a bit worried about keeping it disconnected from the phoneline! Hate nasty letters from sky. Thank you for the help.

Staying on the FTV Card theme I have ordered 4 ftv cards. Is it wise to activate them separately. i.e make separate phone calls when activating each one or should they all be done at once?

Sky (or rather FreesatFromSky) only allowed me to order a maximum of 2 FTV cards. They said there was a limit of 2 cards per household, how did you manage to get 4?

I didn't order them myself. A relative in England did so I don't know. Maybe you were just unlucky.

As people don't scroll down to yesterdays FTV threads, are they going to scroll up to them? :D

I have a quick FTV question, I'm going to England in a few weeks, and I hear the cards can be bought in Currys, if I give a relatives address, would that be the end of it?

The only reason to do this would be if you don't have a credit card. Otherwise ring them up now and spend the £20 and the card will be waiting for you.

You will need to make another call to Sky once the card is in your box at home to get the card switched on.
