I'm taking my sister on holidays at the end of the month. She said she doesn't care where we go as long as she can surf. I don't have a clue where to take her as I'm not a surfer myself. I wanted to stay around the Med. because we're only going for about 5 days. Any ideas ?

I'm no expert, but I don't think the Med is the best place in the world for surfing; it's basically just a big lake without the powerful winds of the Atlantic, so waves wouldn't be paricularly big.

You'd be better off going to somewhere on the Atlantic, Sligo is good I hear(not a joke:))

Sligos not bad but Lahinch is better. As far as somewhere warm goes, some parts of France have good surf, in fact there is a place (I think its in the south) that the eurropean Surf championships has been held before!

The med is supposed to be useless, no waves whatsoever....
The place your thinking of is biarritz, its in the south of france but on the atlantic coast, supposed to be very nice place...
