    Yes,
I was there 2 years ago and its well worth checking out!! Bavarian women are unbelievable (Possibly due to beer goggles)... beer is absolutely amazing as well, quite strong and damn tasty!
Stayed in a campsite near the zoo, cant remember the name, but it was FULL of australians and new zealanders who were there to get drunk, so it was an amazing time apart from when the sun came up in the mornings, then there was no sleep, tent was like a sauna then, a disgusting sweaty, hungovery sauna.
The festival itself is mainly during the day, in which most of the stuff happens, they close it up at about 12 or so i think and then everyone goes to the surrounding bars/nightclubs.
Trying to go back this year! If you can make it then defo check it out, but book accomodation now, because its quite hard to find during the festival...

yeah i was in that campsite (thalkircken) for two months beforethe festival, full of irish till the aussie tour buses come for the opening weekend. i'd avoid the second weekend, generaly italian weekend, droves of horny italian men trying thier luck with anything that moves.
it's brilliant though, tents with five thousand people, litres of strong gorgeous beer and any thing goes.
