If it was very early (before 7:00am) it could have been my convoy to Galway for the Citroën rally. We met at the Texaco at Lucan.

This was a little later in the morning time, 10am approx. I was behind a couple of very old cars through the strawberry beds (excuse my ignorance one looked like a Ford Model T type car, very old but pristine) I'd imagine if they were on route to Galway, then they have probably just about made it now :)

It was the RIAC 100th Anniversary celebrations that started off at their garage on Dawson Street opposite the side entrance to the Shelbourne Hotel. I think there were about 30 cars all pre 1920.

It was advertised in the Irish Times motors section last Tuesday/Wednesday.
