Suggestion for new board

As theres a good lot of Windows related queries lumped onto Technology all the time, it might make it easier to have a seperate board for Windows created.

Shur, Unix has one...

Yes!, I think that's a brilliant idea. Majourity of users on the boards are using some flavour of Windows anyway. So obviously t'would be a popular topic of discussion.

I aggree with this board too.
There does seem to be a good few people having problems with windows software and general windows its self.

Nah, I disagree. Because the majority of the people here use at least one windose machine it's pretty much as standard piece of tech as a harddrive.

why not just change unix to OS board and stick it all in there.
but i think it should stay as it is.

or maybe everyone could come up with a board and then be their own moderator.
except SMAK who is a really annoying little runt.

I said it b4 & i'll say it again, the tech board should be divided in two, 1 for hardware problems and one for software problems. It would make things much easier!

Just as a thought, if there was a windows bored i reckon it would just turn into a place where all the anti MS ppl would come to b!tch about them, just like the anti Ericom/Esat crowd do on the Nets/Comms board.

I don't actually think there are enough posts about windows problems (as in OS specific) to deserve it own board, but there is definitly enough enough posts about windows applications (as well as other OS apps), which brings me back to the idea of splitting the tech board into Hardware and Software boards (or something along those lines).
