Complete newbie needs comments on pic

    Obviously travelling over to the UK I rarely bring my camera around so I took one pic which I'm fairly happy with but need people's thoughts just to see how I got on.

    do you want honest constructive criticism?

    - it's not level
    - too much wasted foreground (the empty lake)
    - bland sky
    - underexposed trees

    overall it just looks like another touristy snapshot, sorry if that's harsh but it just doesn't create any reponse from me

    Agree. Plus - what are you taking a photo of. There's no clear subject for the eye to be drawn to. Is it the lake, the trees, the building, the Eye? Needs more colour saturation, looks real dull

    I'm no photoman but that's exactly what i thought too. It's a nice photo an all, but it just looks like a photo you'd take your holliers.
