Ok I know its a crime but im only just after seeing the absolutely brilliant meneto. What a film so unlike anything else out there and man did it make your brain work. I need you people to clear up a few things for me just so I can get everything ut of that movie that I can.

    1) I cant remember if its said in the movie or not but the end when we see
Leonard and Jimmy just before Leonard kills Jimmy Jimmy calls him the memory man which means that Jimmy knew who he was. How did he know who he was? I have thought back over the film and I cant think of how he does
If someone could tell e how that would be great.

    2) Finally the main thing that has me is why is
Teddy the cop helping Leonard to find and kill these various John G's? I mean he is supposed to be a cop isnt he so why is he helping Leonard kill people?

If anyone can help me out it would be great but anyway that was one cool film. Great addition to my collection.

i'm not going to tell you the answers. but the plot line isn't really that difficult.
everything, afaik, happens in reverse, just think backwards

If only it was that simple. Read the link and you will see how wrong you are

The true genius of this film is that there is no real answers as to whats going on. Anybody who has seen this film read the link below and you will see just how complex this film is. There is so many things I missed that is outlined below that really makes you think. Im gonna have to watch it again tomorrow.

Anyway read this it really gets you thinking the way a good movie should

If anybody has there opinions on it please post them up. This really is one for the real film buffs out there and I doubt anybody will really be able to truely explain it after reading the info in the link. I know I cant

Theres a DVD edition of Memento where the second disc includes exactly the same scenes edited together in the correct chronological order.

I'd bet you that the film is only a fraction as good that way.

Wouldnt like to watch it that way!! the whole point of the film is it going backwards! to confuse and keep people guessing.....first time I got it on DVD I think I watched it 3-4 times in a week to try and sort everything out.,....was a few years ago so must pop it back in and check it out....class film anyway

Yep. Click the last polaroid in the menu.

It will definitely clear up a lot of things for you, but at the same time its not 1/2 as enjoyable watching it that way.
