Saw a Canon Ixus (not sure exactly which model, probably an old one) plus waterproof housing for sale in Cork for €229. I think it was in McSweeneys near Porters, either there or Spectra on Patrick St. Good value if you're into watersports.

Not really if it's an old Ixus.

You can get a new 5MP Pentax Optio WP for that price.

And you wouldn't need the waterproof housing as it's already waterproof to 1.5 meters (or there about), slim and light.

It's not quite the same thing as a full waterproof housing though. It's only waterproof down to 4ft for a maximum of 30mins according to the website.

we use that camera in our canoe club, its very good for watershots, takes good shots
