I presume you have all heard of this local newspaper declaring that it would be "keeping an eye on the Czar of Russia" over his expansionist policies in China. Does anyone have a link to the actual article though?

Its newspaper is 'The Southern Star', successor to 'The Skibbereen Eagle' which acquired fame at the turn of the century with a thundering editorial which finished with the dire warning. 'The Skibbereen Eagle has its eye on the Czar of Russia'.

You might find a re-type or image of the artical vie google, good luck...
