Thats a bit harsh Mike. He said he got a call specifically that this horse would win & it duly did.

Good info & well done those who got on

Well I'm hard to impress - calling a 10/1 shot or better is where I'm at tipping wise! ;)

Sorry mike i know exactly what you are saying its easy to call a stoute/moore handicap good thing a tip but i actually did get a genuine call just thought i'd share it and thankfully enough it won. Im not on here trying to lose anyone money i was just helping i said read into it as you wish but to be honest if anybody is takin tips off this site and backing them then they no the risks sorry if offened anyone but no harm meant. I'll try get a 10/1 shot next time!;)

Ah no you're quite right and is torresistheman, and I doubt the fella who originated the tip would have suggested it was something other than what it always was - a fairly confident shout for a good horse.

Not a tip but im pretty confident that Choisharp in the 21.00 at Yarmouth will get the win. Only 3/1 though and will probably go off fav.
Its only my selection and not a tip. Just thought id post it up if anyone wants to have a look at the horse themselves.

Got a tip off a friend for Motaraqeb, in the 7:30 at Kilbeggan. He was 10-1 when i was told about it around lunchtime, hes 8-1 now.

Friend who gave it to me got it off his mate who knows the owner very well.

Have an each way punt, wouldn't go nuts though.

well beaten :( he looked liked he hated the ground. most of his wins have come on softer ground.

8.00 Middle Persia might be worth a punt at 9/1, Dermot Weld 3 year old in at 8-5 on its handicap debut, mark of 75 which looks okay in this race. My main doubt is that RPs Tom Segal has picked out Desert Mile 13/1, that said he is talking e/w money for that one.

I've backed it based on that, hopefully you're right =]

Just on this Harrison, he is on a mark of 57, he last won at Chester off 80 two years ago in a Class 3 race (he made all in that race) which tells you that he ain't won in a long time but that could be to his advantage. Is jockey Andrew Heffernan claiming an allowence? He is a front runner and is drawn in 5 which at Chester is deffo the better part of the track to be. Typing this out makes me think I really should place a bet!

I put a tenner on H Harrison at 12/1 ew, he came in 2nd how much will I get back.

    Bah close :(

    Well tipped Volt ;)

    Gonzo; 1/4 the odds paid for a place in a handicap with 16 + runners IIRC so you get: 12/4 = 3 x 10 = 30 + the win part of your stake (10 ) = €40.

    100% profit. Not bad :D

yes i like the look of meethaaq 3-10 newcastle.m.stoute's horses always command a lot of respect especially in hadicap company.trading around 14/1 id be a tad bit disapointed if this finishes out of the first 4.ew only and dont go mad.

Last evening I did a Chester Canadian, 4 of the 5 picks were drawn stall 1 all were low draws, 3 won, one placed one unplaced. So whatever you pick at Chester pick LOW!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 295 ✭✭ibanez777vbk

yeah your wasting your time backing high draw round chester, that said 1 mile 2 furlongs and upwards draw doesnt matter to much.5 furlongs to a mile low is absolutly vital.

bentoliver is at 11/4 now, being backed off the board

Not a tip but I just like the look of Love Lockdown in the 3:10 at The Curragh.

Also Gan Amhras for The Derby at 4:20.
