Dunnes Stores- 3 man tent for 25 euro

Hi everyone,

just bought a 3 man tent from Dunnes- it's quite big inside it once it's put up and very light to carry. It only cost 25 euro which is for nothing. Handy for Oxegen next weekend!!

It looks a bit dodge TBH - wouldnt trust it in the strong rain... unless the outer sheet was missing when i saw it erected (ahem!) in dunnes earlier... plus teh bag it comes in looks like its uh... missing a bit!

A friend of mine brought this tent to Glastonbury and it was hopeless.
Started to leak immediately.

In Rambler's way on mary st in Dublin there's a E40 oxegen special. A 4 man that'd really only fit 3 guys. Got one of these last weekend and put it up in the back garden, looks good enough.
Of course everyone else will have one too and we won't be able to find the tent.

in fairness, teh rain at Glastonbury was the most hardcore test the tent could've been put up to!

sorry guys in only replying now- i got it in Pavillions in Swords, god i hope it's waterproof!!!

Tried getting a link before i posted, couldn't find any- you're right, dunnes is a crappy website.

Yeah it's sturdy, size is 200x180x120cm, flysheet is 170T polyester and groundsheet is polythene.

No instructions.......damn.......anyone wanna help two helpless girls put up a tent next fri at the campsite??

It started to leak the minute the rain started whereas a tent bought in Argos didnt leak at all .
