Creating and editing wave files for doorbell

    I have a doorbell that playes 8 and 40 second wave files. It's been a while since I did something like this so I realised I had no softawre to do it with. Any suggestion for a software I was hoping to use a track from a friend's licenced CD I swear.
    Any good sound files would be cool too.

    I found krusty's laugh
    but still having problems. Machine thinks there is something else using the com port getting "operation valid only when the port is open"
