I was wondering how Killzone was? I've never played it or have seen it be played. I would like the peoples opinion not the media's. Should I buy it or leave it?

Personally I think it's quite cool!
nice weapons etc, sweet graphics too!
go for it, you should get it a fairly decent price at this stage.

    D..

Saw it in XtraVision today for around a tenner, not sure if this is second-hand, but it's still a good deal.

It's painfully average. You are better off with Medal of Honour European Assault, Cold Winter, Area 51 or any of the far better fps games on the xbox.

Yeah, its very average, but if you like brainless shooting and some decent visuals from a ps2, get it, especially if its cheap.

Worth a blast, just don't expect something too amazing.

Yeah, I loved frontline, Rising Sun was pretty poor in comparison, and now European Assault has taken another step backwards with the worst graphics of the 3.

Anyway - point - Killzone is worth a tenner if you like mindless blasting for short periods in the evening

Killzone is pretty poor, some great ideas but it's let down by some awful scripting, level design and lack of variety. The PS2 also does show it's age at times. Worth a look for a tenner though.

Well I'm playing MOH european assault on the xbox and am enjoying it far more than frontline. It's not the graphics that count it's the game and it plays rather nicely especially the ducking around cover controls. I'd recommend it over the Killzone any day. I thought the enemy AI was quite impressive. Team mates however are as thick as too short planks.

Best console MoH was frontline on the cube/xbox/ps2, (i liked the cube version, runned nice and smooth) rising sun was rushed bull sh1t, and european assault, is also horrible, the new features are just added from good games, in a half assed EA attempt at improving there own game, cs they cant think up sh1t on there own, imo

I, on the other hand found that frontline got very dull after the first 4 levels when it ran out of ideas and most of the levels were just full of corridors. I much prefer the PC games and the very first MOH game is a classic that if it had 4 player deathmatch would have been better than Goldeneye.

I don't agree with your view on European Assault or Frontline, but there's no arguing MoH on the Psx was a true classic - even today, no game really blows me away like Moh did Christmas morning '99 :)

I still play it regularly. Didn't like Underground as much, tbh it got very very good, possibly even better then the original in the later levels, but the first few levels were an absolute balls up :(

The joke levels at the end of underground were really annoying especially the one with the knights. However the walking dogs and the dogs in the APC were hilarious. Underground never really clicked with me like the first game and the soundtrack was a little weak in places.

The last level of European assault is really annoying me at the moment. Controller through the TV frustrating.
