    Hello i am collecting my new PC tommorrow and i just wanted to know if the graphics card i select is a good one and will it run half life 2 every thing up full ???? :confused: its a GeCube Radeon 9800XT 128MB

    You must remeber that the 9800XT was introduced in the last couple of months of 2003.

    It should be able to run HL2 just fine...but you wil find yourself loweriing details levels in the months ahead for new games.

    I hope the 9800XT 128MB is not costing to much, as you might be able to get a better card for the exact same price!

    6600GT from komplett or jes or wherever would represent better value for money IMO. 205 is a bit steep for a 9800XT.

    Yeah i'd agree with the poster above. 205euros is just to much for that card. If you paid for it all ready try and c if you can get your money back.
