cameras at U2 concert

    hey all. very quick question:

    were you allowed bring your camera into any of the U2 gigs? was it taken off you? the film pulled from the camera? memory card taken?

    im going tonight and dont want my digital camera taken off me.

    not sure about this concert but i've never had a camera taken off me when i went, its just something they say afaik

    They will probably take the camera from you and give it back to you when you leave. It can cause safety issues, Photo-epilepsy with millions of camera flashes, also they probably don't want you to take photos.

    friend of mine got in with a camcorder and recorded the whole lot ( for personal use of course)

    there is no problem bringing in cameras, everyone in my group had one and people all around had them on friday night, afaik u2 have no problem with cameras like some other miserly feckers :D so you should bring it with no worries

    i forked out €15 for a nice disposable one before i set out to go to the concert and it broke after about 10-15 photos. if anyone would like to email me their pictures from Monday night I would be really grateful. Just PM me if you have some you would be able to send
