    my mates has one of these machines and wants me to get him a new graphics card.
    i think its a time computer but can anyone give me any more info??

    basicly i want to know if its agp 8x or 4x

    shouldn't make a shred of difference.. 8x devices are compatible with 4x agp slots (but not 2x).

    which will give him full details of the components.

    You can usually google on the board, and see whether it has agp8x etc.

    its an amd xp 2400+ so it is definately 4x, forgot/didnt know/didnt think of the backward compatability. cheers to both of ye!
