:D Can anyone answer these Chemistry problems? Please help!!

    Select atom w/ highest electronegativity.
    a. O or b. P

Select the atom w/ lowest ionization energy.

    Q1: O link

    Q2: Rb

Q3: Ba will have more "shells" of electrons around it than Ca. This provides a shielding effect from the attractive forces of the nucleus (more so than Ca)
and so will have higher reactivity than Ca

Stop asking for you homework to be done :D
Or at least show that you have made some attempt and are stuck after trying.

The answers to the first two are in the back of ye olde log tables

For the halogens and other atoms that accept electrons to form ionic bonds the shielding effect makes them LESS reactive.

Meh, it's outside of the school year, so I don't see the problem with her asking :)

That is, so long as she looks at the links and learns how to get to the answer.
