I've just come back from Paris.

    Oh

    My

    God

The street I was staying on in Montmartre was probably about as long and wide as O' Connell Street, maybe a little smaller. On that street and 2 streets that run parallel to it there is:

2 general guitar shops with some proaudio gear
    2 dj gear shops
    1 keyboard/proaudio shop
    1 dedicated proaudio shop
    2 dedicated guitar shops
    2 drums shops
    1 percussion shop
    2 acoustic guitar shops
    1 bass guitar shop
    1 guitar amp shop
    1 guitar effects shop
    1 guitar hardware shop
    1 microphone shop

The main street in the area was the Rue De Rochechouart. The closest metro station is Anvers. Eh... on line 4, I think. Can't quite remember.

Yeah, I stayed in the creepy part of Montmartre, on a school trip and everything. There were ridiculous numbers of guitar shops in the area though. I was devastated I didn't get to visit them. :(

I know the place. Tis down the hill and around the corner from the Moulin Rouge but I can't remember the name of the street. There was a whole shop dedicated to, like, left handed acoustic basses :)

Yeah, that's the one - Music stores and the red light district, all within walking distance!

It's only a 10 minute Metro ride from the Zenith as well. Now, that's what I call a venue.
