Hi, this is a Black polyester assymetric skirt from "NEWLOOK"got it from a charity shop.....worn with Black Tights and mules ..it goes with anything, i love it.

The skirt looks like it has potential, but not with those gigantic shoes! The shoes are hideous by the way - not to sound too crass or anything, but they should only be worn when you're putting the bins out late at night.

And open-toe sandals with tights?! *Black tights*?! No, no, no.

You should wear open toe sandals with bare legs *or* fishnets and a nice pair of wedges.

Hey come on , i have not come on this forum to be put down as some joke , this is no joke, im not a troll and i wear Black tights ..so what.!! i wear black tights for school and weekends....so what am i doing thats so wrong, ok the mules are a light tan colour ..."BUT" the assymetric skirt is "BLACK"!!!its a "NEW LOOK" brand polyester black skirt and yes i quite like it and i will wear it to our school disco..so the shoes are wrong...ok ill change the shoes..now find something else to criticize ..no look, im not being funny ,it takes a lot more than this to rile me, im just asking for some advice ,and as for open toed shoes .well i have allways worn them with tights ...BUT only opaque ones that is why i have taken the second picture. Well im going to buy some Black mules and i will post another picture..perhaps this will be ok. i hope so .

Right at last !!thanks, some constructive advice..so its the "Opaque Black Tights" that are the culprit..?..what if i was to replace them with skin colour 15 denier sheer tights that i have..?

The skirt in your photo looks quite delicate and lovely, and you're really detracting from it by wearing it with the aul winter woolies! You could really look quite sophisticated if you ditch them and the mules, but instead you seem to be quite keen on looking like a little girl dressing up in Mammy's clothes. People have offered you lots of advice (which you asked for!), but you just don't want to take it on board. Why not try a pair of pretty sandals instead of the mules?

I never EVER wear black tights, with the exception of patterned tights.

In the summer, tights should be binned completely. Exfoliate, shave/wax your legs, and use a tinted moisturiser or fake tan for colour. It's far more attractive. Summertime is all about keeping things light and natural.

As to shoes, it's har dto say. I very rarely wear black shoes/sandals, as it seems that's all everyone else wears. Give us an idea of what other shoes you have and we'll go from there.

Because I think they look horrible and do nothing for a person's leg.

Skin coloured tights allow the light to play on your legs showing the curves, while black tights just make legs look like poles.

Well you know ,i dont have any high heels "YET"!! my mother would not allow them but i can buy them now as im now 16. i will post a pic of some other footwear i have very soon......Regarding them so called "Horrid" Tights !! my sister has gone to Glastonbury Festival in England ..... i should have passed them on to her to wear in all the mud.

i think we have a case of attention seeking here. we all know that this is a piss take. if this is about a skirt why focus on the shoes. u purposely gattered the tights at your ankles. and also yet again wore tights with sandals. what is with you?

Well karina's threads have definitely given me a bit of a laugh lately . I think I actually laughed outloud at the skin tight skirt thing. What is the craic with the tights! Dear God. They are hideous! I reeeeeeally hope you're a troll, cos if you're not you are going to be laughed off the stage every time you leave the house.

The assymetrical look was big in 2000/2001 as far as I remember. It's pretty dated now. I don't feel the need to go into the tights issue since everyone has pretty much given you their opinion on them. I haven't really been taking you seriously so far, but if you are for real I'm not holding out much hope for you. Are you in the chess club? Do you have any friends? I don't mean to be cruel, but do ur friends and family actually let you out wearing such atrocites!!! Seriously, would you not go and get some fashion advice? They have a personal shopper in Debenhams. Failing that you should apply for what not to wear!
You're only subjecting yourself to insults and laughter by posting these picutes up!

By the way, the skirts actually quite nice...it just doesn't work with the tights and mules! It would look well with high heeled stilettos or hight heeled sandals.
