The rain being the water falling from my shower head and obviously not at this present moment in time... unles the Japanese have got another invention, a waterproof computer....

Anyway! So a lot of people do it and the question is do you?
Do you sing in the shower?
If so what sort of stuff?

I think it has something to do with the fact that most bathrooms are tiled and so you have alot of reverb which makes your voice sound better when you are singing.

I'm hydrophobic myself, so I try to keep showers as brief as possible.

I was very drunk at 4am on the streets of Cork, screaming out the lyrics to "Big Balls" by AC/DC.

It was magical.

And yes, I occasionally sing in the shower.

I remember trying to do Gene Kelly's Singing in the Rain dance one drunken night while staggering down Shop Street. It was all going swimmingly until I tried the spin off a lampost with the one hand outstretched with an umbrella in hand and snotted myself. It must've been some sight because the umbrella in question was bright pink and my knee took a couple of weeks to sort itself out!

Yeah I love to sing in the shower! I only sing to myself though - you wouldn't hear it if ya stood outside... Now, my brother is a different story - he belts out songs like he's on stage with no microphone! It's brilliant!!

I'm never really in the mood for shower singing during the week as I'll be in the shower by seven thirty or so.

On weekends though, its different. Its only a matter of time before I injure myself trying to do the Angus Young dance or something. I can't sing a note, but that doesn't quench my enthusiasm, oddly.

I usually sing anything thats been stuck in my head that day or if I've been practicing guitar then whatever songs I was playing, but only in the evening, mornings showers are just sleepy time!

I cant sing...but i love singing. (and dancing, and petry...oh i am so sensitive! women sleep with me!)

And the shower is one of the places i can get away with it.


BUT

in my current accomadation, the shower is sort of possessed by the devil. IT changes tempature without warning and then it doesnt exactly shower but periodicly throw up water which has an unhealthy shade of rust.


so instead of seeing you sort of get...
