If the moderators aren't chosen by their areas of interest on Boards may I ask how they are chosen? On other forums I have frequented mods are chosen by what they know about. That way they can actually help people out and correct any mistakes. It's like having people who don't go to Trinity modding the Trinity forums. A mod with no knowledge or interest in the subject of the forum they are meant to be moderating will not be able to contribute to the forum in any way.

The mods get the job not by being brown nosed little do-gooders (mostly), but by showing a clear head.

Some get selected by the powers that be (not by the users), because they help alot, or know the subject alot about the subject. Or maybe cos they suggested it.
