    Built with cavity blocks
    No Windows
a steel door which i will be supplying
the outside would need to be sand and cemented

Any ideas on what cost i would be looking at???

Also do the builders have to call to my house to give me a qoute??

    Hi tadydub,

Any builder who does not call to survey the work area is either a fool or building in unexpected costs in his site unseen estimate.

Access to the work area, location for a skip, drainage for surface water, type of ground etc all must be taken into consideration as will the type of roof you want and the electrical / water supply again if needed.

I refuse to quote for work when I haven't carried out a survey, it has no hidden agenda just there can be a lot of information gathered in a ten minute visit.
