A bit of a longshot, but would anyone here know where I could find a retailer for turnbuckles? Something like the pic below.

    Thanks.

It's to (temporarily) set the polar axis angle while installing & aligning a mount. Will eventually be replaced with a 12 inch actuator for tracking inclined orbits - assuming all goes well.

Zaphod, ham antenna manufacturers use this for support wires as I have two from m2inc.com maybe theres an EU supplier for spare parts.

anderco lifting do them in cork.
Some advice Zaphod put some anti seize compound/grease/wd 40 on the threads.this will stop them rusting and binding, and make it easier to adjust later on.
    regards moc

Got a cheap lightweight turnbuckle in B&Q, Liffey Valley, for a fiver - should be fine for initial install. Thanks to all above for various suggestions.

Was looking at the sat cable while I was there. CT100 grade stuff with copper foil, but with a foam rather than the usual semi-airspace dielectric, was €30 for 50M. They also have 100M rolls of 'silver foil' crap for €30.
