I've Media Player 10 - how can i get it to go full screen? MP goes full screen for 1/2 a sec and then the grey bars at the top and bottom of the screen reappear!

This never used to happen in Media player 9. Yes, i could downgrade but...

Alt + Return key usually does it for me. Unless your running on a cr4p PC, it should work.

I think there is an option on the bottom bar to dissapear. Some little push button thing. I on a pc with WMP9 now so i can't really do anything

    Simple reason is:
You moved your mouse. Whenever your mouse is moved it will bring the two bars down. Maybe put your mouse upside down or so as it could have been your speakers shaking it and causing it to move [Happens to me quite a lot].

Also, make you you dont have the bars 'pinned' as such. There is an icon on the top right of the bar which looks like a pin or thumbtack. If that is selected then the bars will stay on. Ensure its unselected.

Thats what i was trying to say

    Thanks for all the suggestions*

Its not pinned, i didn't move my mouse (!). Its a (cough) real DVD but can't play it on my own Sony player.

Seems a bug in MP 10?

    * especially the one about a "cr4p PC", which was a highly illuminating. i must remember to have that one tattoed on my arse.

um, it *can* happen that the speakers/subwoofer is too loud and it makes the mouse through vibrations

Granted - and thx 4 the suggestion - but this is a laptop and it worked with MP9!

    Edit: got it working.

Possibly by doing the following or just random clicking on things.

View > Video Size > untick "Fit Video to Player on Resize" and "untick Fit Player to Video on Start".

I still things were a lot easier in MP9!
