I've been getting 'An error has occured. Cannot connect to
your mailbox. HTTP Error 302' all day.

Emailed GMail support but heard nothing back...

Doesn`t work for me either. Using Firefox, but it tels me all day already

    Failed to log in
    Please verify username and password

Happened at work, and at home as well. No clue what`s wrong.

Try uninstall it, and delete the install files.

Download the latest version and reinstall it. I got a similar problem before, turned out it kept trying to log in with the wrong password for some reason - it wouldn't prompt me for the correct one.

    Tried that - didn't work.

Did they change the URL to GMail to mail.google.com from gmail.google.com or has it always been mail.google.com?

    Not working here either.

    It definatley was gmail.google.com.

gmail.google.com is redirecting to mail.google.com (A slight irony on Google's part)

It's obviously something that's making yere setups unhappy.

Sounds like your address was used to spam. Maybe unintentionally. run a virus/spy ware scan on your PC and if clean let gmail know.
