    CLASS!!!

I thought thats the way widgets should have been loaded from the onset .. it looks so much better espessially if you are working on somthing and just need quick refs e.g. fonts or calculator.. without going into dashboard

Now they start to make sence

    Cheers :)

Don't forget that hitting F12 launches all your open Dashboard widgets.

    actually fn+f12 on a lappie..

but i hate the fact that dashboard opens at all .. prefer just to be able to run the widgets independent on the desktop without the windows closing once I click outta dashboard ...

Each to their own I suppose. I actually prefer Dashboard over konfabulator, because of the way Dashboard keeps my desktop free from widgets.

Hey, deevey, try just hitting the F12 button and let me know what happens. That's what I do on my PowerBook and there they are. All 25 of them  :D

F12 key= "eject" on the ibook, you have to press the "fn" button as well for function keys to work.

Thought the keyboard was the same on powerbooks .. hrm .. maybe not.

Anyhow Amnesty is for me, I like floating widgets on my desktop, any of the more useful ones anyhow as they are used for reference purposes and dont want em closing off while actually working on other bits n' bobs each to their own though.
