I'm sure some people will consider it irresponsible etc, but it's a very entertaining video of some people enjoying their cars. Great sound from the V6 of the st220 as well. :)

189 megs to look at a Rover, a Honda, and a Mundane? I don't think so Tim. :)

Haha I bet curiosity will get the better of you!

By the way, you wouldn't call an ST220 a Mundano. It's not the same as a 1.6 repmobile you know. (Similarly, a DC5 type R is not just a Honda, and well... Rovers are ****e of course as we all know. ;) )

What a waste of bandwidth and 5min of my time !

I've overtaken spanners like this who think they're going fast only to be made look like they were stuck in cement.

Anyone who thinks that's exciting would want to be shot.

Lol, you actually sound serious for once! You reckon though? What were you driving? A BMW 528i has less power and more weight than any of the cars in the video.

Here's a video of a Rover 220 turbo (standard apart from decat and mechanical boost controller set at 12psi) following a BMW M3 (the 286bhp version) and staying right with it.

    "lol @ germany" :p

Yet another M3 owner caught napping at the wheel.

Saw one of these Tomcat rovers on Saturday in Co. Sligo. Didn't know what it was at first, nice to see a rare car.

I guess he's too modest ( ) to admit it but, apparently, he drives the outgoing M5. Respect is due I think.

The bandwidth on the zipped files above is very limited and when it's exceeded it goes offline for 24 hours, so I have uploaded them to putfile:

Haha bmoferrall, I would be scornful of these mere tin cans if I was driving the uberpanzer as well!
Is 528i is a username from before the M5 arrived?

Wouldn't diss these cars myself, though I'm surprised the Mondeo struggles to keep up (assuming the others are standard)

Either that or it's an uncharacteristic display of modesty :)

Yeah, I was surprised that it lags so much behind. Apparently the Integra is 235BHP, I don't know the spec though, hopefully I might find out later.
I'm not certain who owns the 220 turbo but if it's the one I think it is then it has had a few sensible upgrades, the main ones being a slightly bigger intercooler moved more towards the front, a Garrett T28 turbo instead of the standard T25, a gasflowed and ported head with piper cams and pulleys and forged pistons with a slightly wider bore.

a 'sensible upgrade' would be a passat tdi.
