Not too bad as long as you don't suffer from Vertigo.

    It depends on personal preference.

Unlike Kaimera, I much prefer the upper deck to the lower deck. The first 5 rows of the upper deck in either the Cusack or Hogan are the best seats in the house IMO, but I like higher up as well. I much prefer the view from the upper than the lower. The upper deck also has the advantage of not getting wet when it rains, unlike 2/3rds or so of the lower deck.

The upper tiers have a perfect view of every inch of the pitch if you get seats in the middle somewhere, only downside is the millions of steps you have to trudge up to get there.

There are very few bad seats in Croke Park now. There are a few, but nothing like the amount there were before the re-development. Even the bad seats now are still fairly good. The upper decks do give a very different perspective of the game in that you can see how the positions of players work as they play. As long as I am inside Croke Park for those big days, I don't care where I am! :)

I agree with Flukey, all places are pretty good.
Mid to back lower tier or front upper tier (or ideally the 10 year seats) in the middle of the pitch are the best seats. After that all in the cusack and hogan are good. I like the upper canal end at the front. You get a great view down the pitch. Lower canal end is ok too unless you are towards the front. The hill has the best atmosphere but the view isn't great for the other side of the pitch. But whereever you are (seated especially) the view will be fine.

Have to say any of the seated areas of Croker give you a good view. The only place I've been where you can't see all of the pitch is beside the Wall to the Cusack on the Hill. Had a premium seat once and to be honest the view wasn't great, but you could get a pint and watch the game out through the Glass (or on the Telly, but that's pointless).

I was at the Cork - Wexford All Ireland semi final last year, and when I got my tickets for Row X of the Upper Tier of the Cusack Stand, I thought that purchasing a pair of binoculars was in order.

I needn't have worried, the view was excellent and I'm going to try to get tickets for the Upper Cusack/Hogan when I'm there again.

Hill for the craic only for Dublin games.

    Upper great view.

    Premium not the best atmosphere.
